Week three part of the group headed to Hawassa in the Sidamo region (officially now called the Southern Nations, Nationalities and Peoples’ Regional State – SNNPRS)
We visited some Wide Horizons for Children (WHFC) projects, chilled by Lake Hawassa, almost got eaten by hippos, visited hot springs in Wondo Genet (former recreation site for the royal family) and had a great time with Haftu and the WHFC team!
