Sneha is currently a Masters Candidate in International Affairs, with a concentration in Governance and Rights at The New School. She has a bachelor’s degree in Women’s Studies as well as World History. She is passionate about post-colonial feminist approaches to International Relations and International Development. Sneha has previously worked for Girl Rising as a Corporate Intern creating corporate partnerships to implement projects in developing countries that empower and enable girls to attain education. Currently, her research is predominately on gender fluidity in Indian society and how that translates to past and present political, economic and social issues within the country. In Ethiopia, she is interested in learning how post-colonial feminist IR can be applied to this state. She is excited to learn what feminist development looks like in Ethiopia. She hopes to use her skills to aid gender development, as well as learn from her experience in Ethiopia.
