Diana Mendez is currently a Masters Candidate in International Affairs, with a concentration in Development at The New School. She has earned a bachelor’s degree in International Management and Sociology. Diana was born and raised in Queens New York, and comes from a Dominican-Guatemalan family. Diana has worked in various non-for profits such as OXFAM America, ALSAC St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Success Academy Upper West, and Latino U College Access. As a first generation college student, she emphasizes that education is key to bringing sustainability and peace and she is passionate about working with children and the youth, as she believes they shape the future of our world.
